Gumtree Hill owner & craftsman Sam Giudici has over 20 years’ expertise in the design, manufacturing & installation of staircases, handrails & balustrades. A trade-qualified Stair Builder, Sam has spent the vast majority of his career, dedicated entirely to the art & craftmanship of all thing’s stairs.

Over a decade spent exclusively as a Staircase installation contractor, has seen him personally install thousands of staircases in every shape, style & material imaginable & his impeccable quality work spans across residential, commercial & industrial projects, throughout multiple states of Australia’s eastern coast.

HANDCRAFTED FURNITURE

In recent time, during a state relocation, coupled with a personal property build, he has also focused his attention to creating unique, handmade furniture. Pulling from his deeply honed & transferrable skillset, his desire being to make custom, quality pieces that are built to last a lifetime & forever be adored.

Operating out of a private workshop tucked away in the hills of Tasmania, just outside Hobart, Sam preferably works with solid, hardwood timbers & desires to utilize traditional hand tool work & joinery wherever possible.
